Limitations
- Unencrypted XLSX only, up to 20 MiB each and 40 MiB total; at most 50 sheets, 50,000 rows per sheet, 500 columns and 500,000 cells. ZIP expansion is bounded to 64 MiB, 16 MiB per part and 1,000 parts.
- The reader rejects macros, embedded objects and external workbook links. Formulas require saved cached values and are never recalculated. Hidden sheets are included.
- Edited XLSX outputs rewrite every sheet as displayed text. Original formulas, formatting, charts, links, comments and metadata are omitted. Formula-like text is stored as inert strings.
- Search and comparison reports list at most 10,000 records within a 16 MiB record budget, with full counts and an explicit truncation flag. Search matches displayed text; comparison matches exact sheet names and cell addresses, not moved rows or formatting.
- HTML output is limited to 20 MiB. Its preview shows 50 rows by 10 columns and up to 200 characters per cell; download contains the complete selected sheet. Embedded media is copied unchanged; linked resources are never fetched.
- Numeric row sorting requires finite plain numbers in every sorted cell. Text sorting uses Unicode code-unit order. A cancellable worker imposes a 60-second deadline.
