MP4, MOV, WebM, Matroska

ZIP, WebM, MP4, JSON

How to use this tool

  • Choose one local video file.
  • Choose equal segment duration or increasing explicit cut times. Select WebM or MP4 output, then inspect the clip intervals in the ZIP manifest.
  • Choose Process video and inspect the result before downloading.
  • Cancel and Reset stop processing and invalidate previous results.

Examples

Export several sequential clips from one video and keep their source intervals in a manifest.

Limitations

  • Browser-local processing in a killable worker with a 120-second deadline and disabled network. At most 128 MiB input/combined output and a readable duration up to five minutes.
  • Up to 16 recognized audio/video tracks, 8 megapixels per frame and 8192 pixels per side. Audio tracks must have one or two channels at 8–96 kHz. Local files only, no playlists or URLs.
  • 2–20 sequential clips cover the full source timeline. Explicit cuts must increase and produce clips of at least 0.05 seconds. Equal-duration mode merges a final tail under 0.05 seconds into the preceding clip. A segment containing only a leading gap is rejected.
  • Re-encoded primary video/audio tracks only: WebM VP8/Opus or MP4 AVC/AAC when browser encoders are available. Additional tracks, descriptive tags and artwork are omitted. Display orientation is applied, source proportions remain, and alpha becomes black. No lossless/keyframe-copy claim.
  • Frame holds are clipped at the requested cuts and audio is trimmed at sample boundaries. Each clip starts at timestamp zero. WebM timestamps round to milliseconds; audio codec priming and padding can affect decoded duration. The ZIP manifest records requested intervals.
  • At most 9,000 source/output video frames and four billion combined decoded/output pixels. Repeated source decoding for every clip and separate alpha are conservatively charged before encoding; large videos may require fewer clips. A shared byte limit applies across all clips before ZIP creation.
