How to use this tool

  • Paste Template text using placeholders such as {{name}}.
  • Enter Variables as a JSON object of strings, for example {"name":"Alex"}. Quote numbers if they should appear as text.
  • Choose whether missing variables should reject the run or remain as unresolved placeholders.
  • Select Fill template, then download filled-template.txt and template-report.json.

Examples

Hello {{name}}, reference {{reference}}. with {"name":"Alex","reference":"001"} produces Hello Alex, reference 001.

Limitations

  • Each input: 1,048,576 UTF-16 code units; at most 10,000 variables and 50,000 recognized placeholder occurrences. Filled output: 5,242,880 UTF-16 code units; combined downloads: 20 MiB.
  • Names start with an ASCII letter or underscore and contain up to 128 letters, digits, underscores, dots or hyphens. Dots are literal key characters; spaces or tabs around the placeholder name are allowed.
  • Values must be JSON strings. No implicit number or object conversion, nested property lookup, loops, HTML rendering or recursive replacement occurs; other brace syntax remains literal.
  • Names are case-sensitive. Browser textarea input normalizes pasted line endings to LF. The shared text preview is limited to 1,048,576 characters; download the complete permitted output.
