How to use this tool
- Paste a Collection 2.1 JSON document or choose one UTF-8 file with the exact recognized schema URI.
- Select Inspect Postman collection to inventory the item and request tree, literal scopes and optional-data diagnostics.
- Download collection-inventory.json and collection-requests.csv. The tool retains literal data and secrets but never resolves variables or executes requests or scripts.
Examples
A collection containing one Example GET request to https://example.com/ yields one request row while preserving that literal URL.
Limitations
- Exact recognized Collection 2.1 schema URI required. At most5MiB source,10,000 parsed values,30 additional nesting levels,1000 requests/headers per request,20MiB combined output and30 seconds.
- No variable resolution, auth inheritance, script/request/file/network execution or full-schema validation claim. Unsupported optional shapes are retained and diagnosed.
