Examples
A CSV cell a|b becomes an escaped literal pipe in the Markdown table rather than an extra column.
Limitations
- At most 1 MiB UTF-8 input, 1001 rows including header, 20 columns and 20000 cells. Header-only tables are allowed.
- The existing Markdown formatter admits at most 200000 UTF-16 units of generated source and 2 MiB formatted Markdown; complete Markdown and source report together are limited to 5 MiB and 30 seconds.
- Cells with CR/LF or unsupported control characters are refused. One global alignment only; no HTML preview, delimiter detection or per-column alignment.
